About this course
The IB SL chemistry course is a preparatory course designed to show how chemistry is intimately involved in many aspects of our lives. The course enables students to:
- appreciate scientific study and creativity within a global context.
- acquire and apply a body of knowledge, methods and techniques that characterize science and technology.
- develop an ability to analyze, evaluate and synthesize scientific information.
The course helps students facing some challenges to be well prepared for the official exams. It also guides them when writing their individual investigations.
